Hey everyone, how’s your Monday going? It’s really been a Monday, which is exactly why I’m a little late with today’s post. Stuff just happens and we gotta roll with it, right? So this week we’re going to look at the Tasteful Textures Bundle. I’m not sure if you’ll get a full week of posts as this Friday is my Club and Stamping with the Girls classes and I still need to prep for that, but we’ll see how it goes. Let’s take a look at our first project. Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Seaside Spray cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Rococo Rose cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Woven Threads DSP cut at 3″ x 3″, 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ and 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
And yes, this is another “made from scraps” card. Don’t you love it when you can use them up??? I started with the Rococo Rose layer and cut out the medallion from the bundle. I thought the Woven textures was a perfect compliment for this set, so I added the 3 x 3 piece underneath the die cut area. Next I added the 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip to the bottom, glued it to the Seaside Spray layer and then everything to the card base. I thought it needed “something”, so I grabbed a piece of the Seaside Spray Scalloped Edged Ribbon and trimmed it to size and glued it over the seam with Mini Glue Dots. I then stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White in Seaside Spray ink and punched it out with the Timeless Label Punch. I glued it to the card base with dimensionals and added some of the 2019/2021 In Color Faceted Dots in Rococo Rose.
For the inside I added the little strip of DSP and stamped the sentiment, also in Seaside Spray ink.
I love how all of Stampin’ Up!’s products all coordinate so easily, really makes creating so easy! You’re not spending all your time trying to figure out what goes with what! If you would like to purchase any of these items, just head over to my online store. Right now when you purchase 3 select packages of Designer Series Paper, you can get one for FREE! And this DSP is part of that sale!! So head over to my store and check it out. While you’re there, be sure to look around my site as Stampin’ Up! just upgraded our sites. They look so good and are more user-friendly.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow for another CASE-ing Tuesday Project! Have a great afternoon!
