swap

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Have to say mine was fantastic! I had so much fun at my first Centre Stage dinner Friday night and then On Stage all day on Saturday. Centre Stage is a dinner for demos that hold the title of Silver Elite or higher. Stampin’ Up! really spoils us. We received our copies of the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs, some wonderful training and a very nice dinner. I met so many people that I am involved with in the training group Creating Success and even more demos from other states. Then on Saturday we had recognition for our accomplishments such as recruiting, sales, promotions, and anniversaries, and we even got to create make ‘n takes with new product. So much fun! And of course all the Prize Patrols! Those are giveaways that SU! has periodically throughout the day and I won something too!! A really cute stamp set called “xxxxxxx”. lol  I can’t tell you yet as we are sworn to secrecy! I am so excited to share things with you when I can. We will be able to share some things later today, but not the catalog or items from it yet. That is one of the biggest reasons to become a demonstrator! You too could have your catalogs now if you join, not to mention by joining my team all the fun you’ll have with the rest of my team!! You can join by going to my Shop Now button and click on the Join tab.

So now back to the card I created for my On Stage swap card to swap with other demos. This card was created with the Christmas Magic. Such a cute set. I created the card base using Chocolate Chip, then took a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Always Artichoke and embossed it with the Holly embossing folder. I then stamped the train image on a piece of 3″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla in Chocolate Chip. Then I used a Stampin’ Sponge and inked up the card stock to give it a smoky look. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and adhered it to a piece of 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler. Add some dimensionals and adhered it to the card. I tied a bow with the Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and glued it down with a Mini Glue Dot. I knew it needed some bling, so I added some Clear Wink of Stella all over the train. It looks so stunning and everyone that received one loved it. And the cards I received in return were just as stunning! So much fun to see all the different styles.

Well, we are still traveling so I’m not able to do a lot of blogging, but will post other pictures when I can. We are currently sitting in the Grand Canyon State Park in our 5th wheel. Put a lot of miles on our butts this weekend! 🙂 Take care and I will catch up soon! Don’t forget to head over to my online store to purchase all your items that I used here and you can also join my amazing team while you’re there.
