Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I hope your week has been a good one. I know I’m not usually posting on Saturdays, but it’s been a crazy week around our house. So were you able to watch my Facebook Live this morning? If not, you can catch the replay over on my YouTube Channel here. I had so much fun with this kit, but then I say that every month! lol
Let’s start with the box. I didn’t create the box online, but wanted to share a package idea with our Scalloped Kraft Boxes. I just put the box together, added ribbon and created my tag. Quick and easy gift!
And here’s a look at my scrap layout.
Here are the measurements for my layers:
- Cherry Cobbler Base 12″ x 12″
- Sweetest Christmas DSP cut at 11 1/2″ x 11 1/2″
- Basic White cut at 10″ x 10″
- Early Espresso cardstock cut at 6 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ photo mat
The Basic White has an image from the Stitchery stamp set stamped all the way around in Early Espresso ink. Such a fun way to add that faux stitching on a page!! I stamped two of the candy canes and the sentiment on the bottom in the Cherry Cobbler, the ink spot in the kit. I added my photo mat and then created the tag and added it. I think it turned into a great embellishment for my page!
Now let’s look at my gift card holder.
I used one of the North Pole Sacks that is an add on for this kit and folded it in half. I then wrapped the Mint Macaron twine around it and tied it in a bow. I created my tag and added it with dimensionals over the twine and it was done!! Super quick!
Now let’s look at our first card.
Here are the measurements for the card:
- Card base in Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 2 78″ x 5 1/4″
- White Glimmer Paper 1/2″ strip
- Basic White cardstock for the inside cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
This card was actually inspired by the Linen Twine bow and strip of White Glimmer paper laying on my desk! I decided to created something using those and thought the twine looked perfect for the tag. The Cherry Cobbler layer was from my scrap bin. I stamped the sentiment from last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit randomly in Cherry Cobbler ink and then added it to the card front. I thought it coordinated perfectly with the sentiment on the tag. I then created the tag and attached it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and added some Red Rhinestones for bling.
For the inside, I stamped the candy cane from this month’s kit and the sentiment from last month’s kit. I also stamped the candy cane on the front of the envelope.
Now let’s look at the last card.
Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- North Pole Sack cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White for the inside cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
I just love these little treat bags and thought it would make the perfect “interactive” card and was a great use for my Cherry Cobbler layer which was from my scraps bin! I trimmed the bag to fit the front and stamped the image in Cherry Cobbler. It is attached, seam side down, with Stampin’ Seal. Then I created the inside layer.
I used the Santa Hat die cut for the pull tab, and is attached with some Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the Ho Ho Ho in Crumb Cake ink, stamping off first, and then stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. I then stamped the Santa face from last month’s kit, in Crumb Cake ink. The From Santa sentiment is stamped on the envelope flap in Crumb Cake ink.
Isn’t that a fun kit? And it created such beautiful tags!!! At the time I created this blog post, both the North Pole Sacks and the refill for the kit are available.
