Hello and Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well and I am so glad you stopped by today. I know I missed last week and I may miss a few off and on as my husband Larry is facing some health issues right now and I need to take care of him. That’s what we do, right? Isn’t that a cute card? That squirrel is so stinking cute!! I decided to go with a Christmas card this week using the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and that gorgeous Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP.
I followed all of the measurements from the sketch for my take, except the sentiment circle is a little bit larger. I wanted to use the dies that coordinate with the DSP so I chose this image to die cut. From there I chose a Pretty Peacock card base from my stash and then chose scraps in Gold Foil, Real Red, Pool Party and Basic White to use for my layers. I trimmed and die cut my layers and attached them all with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I added my die cut piece with dimensionals and also added the sentiment sticker with more dimensionals after I sponged on some Real Red ink to make it pop. I then sprinkled on some of the Traditional Sparkling Sequins for bling.
For the inside I decided to use another sticker for the sentiment. I love how it pops on the dark background and just think how pretty it will look when you sign the inside with a gold marker! Since the sequins are flat you can use them on the inside too.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I sponged on red ink on another sticker and added it to the envelope flap.
