Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and are starting your week off right. This week’s Product of the Week is the new Many Blessings stamp set. This is a stamp set that will fit all your needs for the next 3 months and even beyond! Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Night of Navy cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Brights DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Night of Navy cut at 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
When I saw the sunflowers image in this set, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. And if you know me, Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy are my favorite “country” colors and those sunflowers are PERFECT for that combo! I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black ink and colored the flower pot using the Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers, the Old Olive Combo for the leaves, Daffodil Delight Combo for the sunflowers, although I will tell you, it really needs just the dark marker. The light was a little too light. I used the Soft Suede combo for the flower centers, the Light Crumb Cake for the base of the images and the Light Pool Party to shadow the entire image. Next I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and colored the rhinestones with the Dark Night of Navy marker. I tied the ribbon around the DSP, then adhered it to the card front. Next I adhered the Whisper White to the Night of Navy and added dimensionals to lift it up. Done! What do you think? Isn’t it just the sweetest card? I really loved how it turned out! It just makes you smile.
