Love to Craft? Join my Dazzling Divas team!

Hello again!!! Are you ready for some inspiration with the new In Colors and the Unbounded Love Bundle and the Flowers of Beauty Stamp Set? If you stopped by earlier this morning for my CASE-ing Tuesday project, you saw my first card with this set. If you missed it, you can see this morning’s post here. If you get a chance to get inky this week, we woud love it if you could come and play along with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group.

I had so much fun creating these projects! Did you catch this afternoon’s Facebook Live? If not, you can catch the replay over on my YouTube Channel. If you could give my video a thumbs up, I would be very grateful! So let’s look at my layout first.

Here are the measurements:

  • Base in Basic Black 12″ x 12″ cardstock – retired
  • Unbounded Beauty DSP – 11 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ and 1/2″ x 12″
  • Basic White cardstock – 7″ x 7″
  • 2024/2026 Glimmer Specialty Paper – 1″ x 8 1/2″

After creating my CASE-ing Tuesday card, I knew that I wanted to create my layout using black as a way to pop all of the colors. I found a sketch I liked in my book of sketches from for my starting point. I didn’t want to cover up all of the DSP with my white square, so I cut out the middle. Note to self – always do that step before trimming the 12×12 down! lol I ended up with an opening of 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ and then glued those layers down with Tombo Multipurpose Glue. I attached my strip of glimmer paper, which was leftover from creating my CT card, down and then attached my strip of DSP. I then found the design for my title in Design Space from Cricut and cut it out in Basic Black and a piece of the DSP. It’s attached to the layout with dimensionals. I am so excited that Stampin’ Up! will be incorporating the use of Cricut!! I have been a Cricut girl since way before I became a demonstrator!  I then added my photos. The little journaling tag is created with the dies from the bundle. After that was added I sprinkled on some of the In Color Shimmer Gems for bling. I am really happy with this layout!!! Now let’s look at our first fun-fold.

Here are the measurements:

  • Card base in Basic White cardstock – 2 @ 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, one scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ and one scored at 4 1/4″
  • Unbounded Beauty DSP – 3 strips @ 2″ x 5 3/8″, 2 @ 2 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and 1 @ 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″

I know there’s a lot going on with this design, but it’s not really that difficult. You basically have two card bases, one a z-fold and one a standard fold. Start by gluing the backside of the regular folded card to the inside of the z-fold and then you just decorate it. You add the layers to the front of the z-fold, inside of the z-fold and the inside panel of the card, and then the large piece of DSP to the left side of the card on the inside. I stamped my two labes in Petunia Pop ink as well as the inside sentiment. I die cut the leaves in Summer Splash cardstock and added them to the label with a tiny bit of glue and added a shimmer gem for sparkle. The label is added with dimensionals over the long piece of the Silver and White ribbon which ties it closed. I should mention that most of the strips on this card are from the panel I cut out of the paper used in my layout.

Here’s the inside panel of the z-fold:

And then the inside by the above layer. To keep it cohesive to the card, I added the second strip of DSP.

And then some more of that gorgeous DSP for the envelope flap.

See, that’s not really that difficult, but it packs a huge wow factor! If I lost you, be sure to check out the video. Now let’s look at the second fun-fold.

Here are the measurements:

  • Card base in Peach Pie cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and trim off 2 3/4″ from the front
  • Azure Afternoon cardstock – 2 @ 2 1/2″ x 4″ and 1 @ 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Unbounded Beauty DSP – 2 @ 2 1/4 ” x 3 3/4″
  • Basic White cardstock – 3 3/4″ x 5″

This is one of my favorite fun-folds. I like since you’re using the trimmed off piece as the flap for the card front. The layers are added with Stampin’ Seal and I used a piece of the new Peach Pie ribbon. My sentiments are stamped in Azure Afternoon ink with a pop of stamped off Peach Pie in the little flower image from the Flowers of Beauty stamp set. And don’t forget those shimmer gems!

When stamping the inside of the card, you want to make sure you keep your stamping in the area that is covered by the card front.

I repeated the flower on the envelope flap.
