Good morning! I wanted to share the final card from Saturday’s birthday card class. Masculine cards are always a challenge, no frills or flowers…hard to do. But, Stampin’ Up! has come to the rescue with this really cute bundle! And the designer series paper that coordinates with it is using the retired color Delightful Dijon. With the retiring list coming out on April 10th, now is the time to get your ink refills and extra cardstock.

So this card is not just a basic A2 style card. It actually has a fun fold to it. The base of the card is actually just one half of a regular card. The panel that has the die cuts is actually the card. I added one of the embellishments at the bottom of this to hold the card shut. I thought it turned out really cute! The tools are stamped in Basic Gray, then water colored using the Aqua Painters. Even the sentiment, which is from the Balloon Adventures stamp set, is on a tag that is cut from a framelit in the bundle. Such a great set for your favorite guy!

I hope you like this card. You too can get this set for your favorite guy, and since the retiring list is coming out next week, it’s the perfect time to place your order. Just go here and when you use Hostess Code SJFCVKBP, I will send you a pack of handmade cards all ready to use. Be sure to order any of the retiring In Color items you need, they will definitely be the first items to sell out next week. Have a great day and I will catch up with you later!
