Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fun-filled weekend and got recharged for the week. Yesterday I was cleaning up from a private party that I had done and got the sudden urge to do some scrapbooking. I can remember the weekends I spent doing just that, nothing but scrapbooking; it’s actually what got me started in the papercrafting world. I also remember when I could spend almost a whole day completing one 2-page spread too. And of course, all the supplies that I had to have to complete said 2-page spread!! I don’t have that kind of time any more with running classes, which is why I love our new line of Memories & More Memory Keeping Card Packs. They come with journaling cards, stickers, acetate overlays and 2 different sizes of cards that are double sided. You can incorporate some quick and easy pocket pages with your 12 x 12 spreads so you don’t miss any of those memories! And when you’re headed to a crop, there’s so much less to pack. Some cardstock, the card packs, and some pictures! And with the coordinating DSP you’re all set. Depending on what your theme is, you could also use some of the coordinating stamps and framelits on your pages.
For this page I actually got to use up some scraps left from a card class, so that’s a win-win! I used a piece of 12 x 12 Lemon Lime Twist with a scrap from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. This pack of DSP coordinates perfectly with the Memories & More Perfect Days Card Pack. I cut some scraps of Night of Navy to use as mats for my pictures and added them to the page. I love how Charlie’s shirt matches the Lemon Lime Twist card stock! I used one of the journaling cards from the pack to add my journaling, makes it easy so you’re trying to hunt down that “perfect” piece of cardstock to match. The title “My Joy” is one of the stickers in the card packs. I added another heart sticker from the pack, some black rhinestones and a silver enamel shape to finish it up. LOVE how it turned out!! Can’t you see the joy in Charlie’s face in those pictures? That boy is definitely my joy!!
So what do you think? The DSP that I used is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free sale that ends tomorrow, so now is the perfect time to stock up! Just head over here to get yours. When you place an order using Hostess Code 2ESDTGYX through the 31st (tomorrow) and place a $35.00 order (before shipping and tax), I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards. I hope your Monday is going well and that your week foes without a hitch. Thanks for stopping by!
