Love to Craft? Join my Dazzling Divas team!

Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little blog, be sure to join my email list to keep up on l the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet his morning? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I love sweet and simple cards, especially when I’m in a hurry! And I love that we have sketches with all the measurements – that way it makes it even easier to create! For my take this week I chose the More Than Autumn bundle along with the Splendid Autumn DSP. Can you tell I’m looking forward to fall? I know, don’t rush it! lol

I followed the measurements in the sketch for my card, except with the addition of a 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″ piece of Basic White that I attached my piece of DSP on. I started with a Balmy Blue card base and thought the white gave the DSP an extra pop. Those two layers are attached together with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive, as well as to the card front. I then stamped my cup in Memento ink and colored it with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I then stamped the pumpkin in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored it with the Light Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends so that the pumpkin outlines really stood out. The whip cream is stamped in Memento and outlined with the Light Crumb Cake Blends. I attached them with a little bit of Seal and then added with dimensionals. For my bling, I added three of the Low Profile Dots in yellow. I thought they went really well with the yellow in the leaves.

For the inside, I stamped part of the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and the word fall in Pumpkin Pie ink on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White. I then added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of the DSP and two more of the yellow dots. Since they are so flat they are perfect for that unexpected pop on the inside.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I used the last little piece of the DSP to attach to the flap. It used the last little bit from the piece I used for the front. I attached it with Seal with the reverse of the piece of DSP.

Can’t you smell the pumpkin spice? 🙂 Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s card and share it with us over at the CT Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way with your style.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you to play along. If you would like to add any of the items I used today to create my card, I would love it if you shopped with me. Just head over to my online store.
