Hey everyone! Happy Monday!! I hope you’re surviving yours. It’s been hectic around here as one of my daughters is moving out of the area, so you know what is involved with that. Like any good parent, we were there helping with things. So Saturday night she was having a rough time (it’s tough to move away from mom and dad, no matter how old you are!!) so I offered to take her to pizza. There’s this pizza place in our area called MOD Pizza. I guess they’re a franchise, but they’re still fairly new for us. Great pizza, and great atmosphere. You basically go through and “build” your pizza, then they put it in the oven, call you when it’s done. Ok, simple enough. So we’re at the register getting ready to pay and the gentleman behind the counter stops and reads my t-shirt. Well like any good crafter, the one I was wearing at the moment says “You never know what you have, until you clean your craft room.” The guy starts busting up and says he needs one for his wife and without even hesitating I tell him, “well, I’m not taking it off now” and I thought he would die!! He then said the pizza was on him since because we just made his day. How cool was that? So again, like any good crafter, I made him a thank you that I’m going to take over to him. Not only did I make this cute card, but check out this cute pizza box that  matches the branding perfectly! I filled it with Mini Peanut Butter Cups. Perfect guy gift, right???

The pizza boxes are in the new Holiday Catalog and are white, so I used one of the sponge brayers and colored it Crumb Cake to match the boxes at the restaurant. The ribbon is some of our burlap ribbon that I dyed using some Cherry Cobbler ink refill and rubbing alcohol. I used the Best Badge punch for the logo, and cut out the letters using my Cricut since we don’t have any letters that small. The pizza was created using the Layering Circle Framelits with silver foil for the pan, Crumb Cake sponged with Crumb Cake ink for the crust, Very Vanilla sponged with Crumb Cake for the cheese, and the pepperoni was created with Cajun Craze sponged with Cajun Craze and punched out with the Handheld 3/8″ punch. After I assembled the pizza, I bend the edges a little to give it some dimension, then adhered it down on the foil. Then I added it to the card with dimensionals. The MOD badge is in Cherry Cobbler with Crumb Cake letters. The sentiment is from the All Things Thanks stamp set. I just loved how this turned out!!

So now that you’ve seen these little pizza boxes in action, you know you have to have them!! Just go here to place your order. When you place a $30.00 (before tax and shipping) order using Hostess Code MGHAAST3, I will send you a packet of handmade cards. If you order $50.00, I will include a free embellishment.
