Hey everyone! I had planned to have this posted sooner today, but you know how things come up. You can see that this is of me and with our beloved Monster. We lost him a year ago, but it still feels like yesterday. Here are the measurements for my page:

  • Base in Whisper White cardstock 12″ x 12″
  • Floral Essence DSP cut at 5″ x 12″
  • Balmy Blue cardstock 8 1/2″ x 11″
  • Highland Heater cardstock cut at 1 1/2″
  • Night of Navy cardstock cut at 1 1/4″ and 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″
  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock cut at 2″

I absolutely love the look on his face! I could sit next to him like this and say “so you….” and hesitate for a second and his head would swivel to me in a flash watching and waiting for me to finish “want a cookie?”. That’s what i was doing when I snapped this. That sweet boy!!

I started by gluing the Balmy Blue page down to the base. I cut my DSP and added my piece of Whisper White Flax Ribbon and then glued it to the page. I used Night of Navy for my photo mat. Before I glued it down, I stamped one of the images from the Artisan Textures in Night of Navy ink. I then created my flags with the Banner Triple punch and then added them to the layout. I used the Perennial Flower punch and punched out 3 of the flowers and glued them together with Mini Glue Dots and to the page with another glue dot. To cover the glue dot, I added a Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dot and then 2 more to the layout. The title is cut in Whisper White cardstock with the dies from the Well Written Die set. I love the blues and purples together!!

I hope you like today’s project as much as I do. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great evening!
