Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Isn’t that a cute card? Very fall-ish! As you can see, I decided to add to my Christmas stash.
I had the Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP sitting on my desk, so I pulled it out to play with it. It took me a minute to decide on which gorgeous piece to use, but with all that foiling, I had to show off that side of paper. This pack has patterns on one side with gold foiling and the backs are patterns without it. When I decided on my piece, I just couldn’t add 3/4″ strips of foil because I felt it hid the pattern too much, so I cut a 3/4″ strip in half. I attached my DSP and foil strips with Stampin’ Seal adhesive on a Secret Sea card base.. I decided to bring out the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack because all of the sentiments are in gold foil. They are actually stickers, but I left the backing on and just added it with dimensionals. I then fussy cut a couple of flowers from another sheet and added it with dimensionals just covering the bottom of the circle. I then sprinkled on some of the Loos Gold Sequins. They are not adhesive backed, so I used Mini Glue Dots to attach them.
For the inside, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Words for the Season stamp set in Secret Sea ink and added another fussy-cut flower in the corner. I used some Tombow Glue to attach it to make sure it stayed in place.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I decided to stamp one of the big images from the Christmas Greenery stamp set in Secret Sea and then attached another sticker from the ephemera pack. I’m not sure I like though – it looked better in my head, but I didn’t want to waste the envelope! lol
