Happy Monday everyone! And Happy July 1st!! Seems like forever since I was here, but then last week was pretty hectic. Today I wanted to share with you a card I created using the Magnolia Blooms stamp set. This is a coordinating set to the Good Morning Magnolia and is found in the little catalog for new stampers. During our last Club event we were looking at this brochure which helps new stampers and we found this set in it. I looked in the new Annual Catalog and couldn’t find it, so I thought it would be good to share with you here. The measurements for my card are:
- Card base in Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Petal Pink cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
- Magnolia Lane DSP cut at 3″ x 4″
- Vellum cardstock cut at 1″ x 4 1/4″
This is a very simple card, but with that DSP I think it just looks gorgeous! I actually cased this card from one that was in a recent online convention that I took. I glued the vellum to the card base with Snail Adhesive since you wouldn’t see it, then glued the DSP to the Petal Pink layer and both to the card front. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and the magnolia bloom in Petal Pink and cut it out with one of the circle dies. Then I punched out a Story Label in Mossy Meadow cardstock and glued it to the back of the circle and then added it to the card front with dimensionals. Add some rhinestones and boom! Done!
