Lots of Happy Birthday Card

Now for today’s project, I wanted to share a birthday card I made for a very special lady. She is a fellow demo and it’s her birthday tomorrow. I just how bright and cheer this card is and I’m sure she’s going to love it! it’s using the new Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. It’s all black and white patterns that you can color or just leave as is, and you can tell I colored it. I used the Stampin’ Blends to color it and just love how it turned out! Here are the measurements of the card:

Card base in Daffodil Delight cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Basic Black layers cut at 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ and 4 3/4″ x 3 1/5″
DSP layers cut at 4″ x 3″ and 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″

After coloring the Petal Passion DSP, I added some Wink of Stella and then layered it on the Basic Black. Then cut the Petal Garden DSP and layered it on the other Basic Black layer, then layered them both to the card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Happy Card Kit in Basic Black Archival Ink and flagged the ends. I added some dimensionals and adhered it to the card. I wanted to give it some bling (I know, shocking!) so I added two of the Glitter Enamel Dots to the flagged sentiment, and some of the retired Black Rhinestones. They just retired yesterday and I miss them terribly!! 😉 I think she’s going to like the card, I know I do.
