Hey everyone! Happy Friday!! Did you have a good 4th of July? We definitely did, but anytime there’s a holiday midweek, it seems to throw me off balance. Then to add to it, we have some craziness going on around here too. Phew! It can be hard to keep a level head sometimes. 🙂
So one of the big things that we had happen was my youngest daughter turned 30 on the third. Let me tell you, she wasn’t the only one having a hard time with it!! lol I can’t be old enough to have 3 daughters in their 30’s!! Ouch!! Especially when there are times that I feel like I’m only 20 myself, of course then the body reminds me otherwise!! 🙂 Anyway, I wanted to share the card I made for her. I still had one of the card bases left from the May Paper Pumpkin kit. That was the kit designed by Stampin’ Up! CEO Sara Douglas. I have to say that has been one of my very favorite kits. So I grabbed my Number of Years stamp set and stamped the front with the sentiment and the number 30. The numbers didn’t stamp clearly, so I colored over it with my Basic Black Stampin Write Marker. Then for the inside sentiment I grabbed the new Five For All stamp set. Love this set because of the funny sentiments. Here’s a look at the inside.
Isn’t that cute? I love the black and white theme with the pops of color. And those glitter embellishments that came with the kit are adorable. She’s another bling queen, so she loved the card. For me? It was quick and easy since I had most of it already done. My kind of card!
I hope you’ve had a great week and that your weekend is even better. Hopefully I’ll be back to normal (I know, what’s normal?) soon. Thanks for stopping by!
