Hey everyone! Happy Friday!! We made it through another week! I wanted to share a page that I scrapped yesterday. I don’t get scrap nearly enough, so when I can squeeze in a few minutes, I’m going to take it! I pulled out this picture of Charlie that I took last summer. The preschool he goes to has art classes that include stamping, so when he asked to stamp you know I was going to say yes!!.
I used a piece of Pool Party cardstock for the base of the page as it brings out the blue in his tee shirt. Then I fired up my Cricut and created the background in Night of Navy and Very Vanilla. Next I cut out the title in Night of Navy. I pulled out my Crafting Forever stamp set and stamped the stamp image in Tuxedo Black on a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock and cut it out with my Snips. I did the same with the scissors from the set, but I just didn’t like the way I cut it out, so I created one and cut it out on my Cricut. I used Basic Black, Gray Granite, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana cardstock scraps. I glued it together with the Multipurpose Glue and then added a brad from my stash. I used Night of Navy to mat the picture, then glued everything down. I used dimensionals for the stamp and scissors and then I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and added my journaling with a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker. Next I added some of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots and called it done. It came together really quickly. I miss working with my Cricut, but so happy that it’s always ready to go when I am.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a great start to your weekend!
