Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!! Just wanted to share my card that I created for my team’s creative challenge this month. It’s all about your favorite In Color. We are creating something with either of the two In Color families. That was a little tough to choose just one for myself, as I really love Dapper Denim….but Lemon Lime Twist won! The problem with the In Colors is I always fall in love with them and hate to see them go when they retire after 2 years. Oh well….it just makes room for more to love!!
To create this card I used a piece of Basic Black for the card base. I had some scraps of the the new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper so I added that to the card. Then I stamped the lemon in Daffodil Delight and the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist on a scrap piece of Whisper White and punched it out with the coordinating Lemon Builder Punch. Love how Stampin’ Up! coordinates inks, paper, punches, etc.! I adhered the leaves with Mini Glue Dots and set it aside. I then stamped the sentiment on Whisper White and glued it down and then added the lemon with dimensionals. I found a piece of the Lemon Lime Twist ribbon, tied it in a knot and added it to the lemon. Of course, it’s not one of my cards without some bling, so I just had to add some rhinestones!! lol Easy peasy card!!
