Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little world, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? With everything going on in the studio the last couple of weeks, I haven’t had a chance to play with the January Paper Pumpkin….so I decided that today was the day to open that box!

Now that I am writing this, I guess I should have used my Perennial Postage dies that match this kit….oh well! I chose one of the die cuts to use and then chose two of the card bases. I decided to use the plaid one for my card base and the plain one to cut up for my layer. I did use the measurements in the sketch for my layers, except for the sentiment strip. I pulled out a scrap of Basic White to use as the mat for my trimmed card base. I attached them with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card base with dimensionals. The flower die cut is actually two pieces, so I added the leaves piece to the card with a little bit of Multipurpose Glue and added the flower with dimensionals. My sentiment strip is 1/2″ x 3″ to fit one of the sentiments from the kit. I used Poppy Parade ink, which is the ink spot color in the kit, for my sentiment and added it with more dimensionals. The kit didn’t come with bling, so I pulled out some rhinestones and colored them with my Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends, our alcohol markers. I love how we can use those markers to create coordinating embellishments!

For the inside, I stamped the flower image from the kit in Bubble Bath ink, stamping off first and then the sentiment in Poppy Parade.

The kit comes with some adorable coordinating envelopes, so I chose the pink one.

So now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample card and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create your way with your style. We would love to have you join us!

If you like the idea of receiving an all inclusive kit each month that comes with everything you need, then Paper Pumpkin is for you! Most of the kits are card kits, but sometimes it might be treat holders. Whatever it is, it comes with an exclusive stamp set that you can’t get anywhere else. Today is the last day to subscribe to get the February Kit which will coordinate with the Easter Basket Suite of products that was featured in this week’s cased card. If you’re ready to subscribe, just head over here. You can cancel at any time, so give it a try.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you. Have a great week!
