Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Well, since I didn’t announce a Product of the Week this week, it’s going to be a free for all! lol Sometimes stuff just happens, but hey, I’m here and that’s all that matters! Today’s project is a quick and easy thinking of you card, all made from scraps! Here are the measurements:

  • Card base in Highland Heather cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Subtles DSP cut at 3″ x 4″
  • Whisper White cardstock two cut at 3″ x 4″

I know we all need those quick and easy get well, thinking of you, or miss you cards, and this is one that will help you create a bunch in no time at all! The flower image in the Healing Hugs stamp set is one of our new distinktive images. I know, you’re going to ask what that means, right? It’s a new way that Stampin’ Up! has created some of their rubber stamps that even with one ink and one stamp to the paper creates dimension with the image. They really are very cool. I had quite a few of the 3″ x 4″ Whisper White pieces leftover from a class over the weekend, so I thought what better way to use them up? I pulled out my leftover card base and adhered the piece of DSP to the left. Then I stamped the image and sentiment in Highland Heather and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz, and then adhered it to the card base. The sentiment is from the new Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set which has definitely become a go-to for sentiments. I wanted to add a subtle bling to the card, so I grabbed my Wink of Stella and painted over the flower. It’s nice to have that on hand just for the times you need subtle bling since it’s not over the top glittery. Next I stamped the inside piece, bringing the leaves from the front into the inside and then the sentiment from the Healing Hugs stamp set and adhered it to the inside. Here’s what it looks like:

All in all I think this card took about 5 minutes to create, so you could really pump out quite a few to have on hand in an hour’s time. We always need them, so why not create them now?
