Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend and had a chance to not only recharge, but also do something fun. We had our Bingo and BOGO sale here in the studio and boy did we have fun!! Here’s a look at some of the girls shopping, stamping and the winners:

It really was a lot of fun. We created 3 projects all using the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit. We created a tag, a gift card holder and a fun fold card. Here’s a look at the tag and gift card holder:

We played 7 games of bingo, six for various prizes and the 7th for was for an order in the amount of the cash that was collected for the additional bingo boards purchased. And we snacked on a homemade rustic peach pie a la mode. The best way to spend a hot Saturday afternoon! Today I am going to share the fun fold card we created. Here are the measurements:

  • Card base in Calypso Coral cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Follow Your Art DSP cut at 12″ x 4″ scored at 1 1/2″ and 6 3/4″ and 3″ x 3″ for the front
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ for the inside layer and 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ for the front

After all the layers are cut, fold the DSP at the score marks. Pull out a piece of the Pacific Point Baker’s Twine from the embellishment kit long enough to create a closure by wrapping the twine around the front of the closed card and tying into a knot or bow. Lay down the twine length ways and adhere the DSP over it to the card base with the short score on the left side. Open the DSP and adhere the Whisper White layer to the inside. Next adhere the 3″ x 3″ piece of DSP to the Whisper White square and add to the wide side of the card front over the twine. Stamp the tag image in Pacific Point ink and the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink and cut out with the coordinating die. Stamp the markers image in Pacific Point ink and cut them out. Color the tip of the blends marker image with the Pacific Point Stampin’ Write Marker, saving the pencil and marker for another project. Add the tag and the marker to the card front with dimensionals. Close the card with the short flap over the wide. Before you tie the twine, add one of the charms and tie the twine into a bow or knot. Next add two of the felt hearts to the short side of the fold with Mini Glue Dots and the arrow pointing to the sentiment, also with Mini Glue Dots. Add some rhinestones and you are done! Isn’t it cute?!?
