Happy CASE-ing Tuesday!! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time stopping by my little world, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. So have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I love that suite of product, but haven’t played with it yet. Here’s a look at my take:

As you can see, I changed it up just a tad. I was pulling some retired product from my stash and decided to use a piece of the Floral Charm DSP. I thought that paired well with the Nature’s Symphony Bundle. I chose this piece that is in Pretty Peacock and once I trimmed it to the measurements, I inked the edges with Pretty Peacock ink. I didn’t want to hide this pretty paper, so I put my second layer down first. It’s in Lost Lagoon that I trimmed to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added it to a Basic Beige card base. I die cut the leaves in Basic Beige and inked the edges a little bit in Pretty Peacock. I attached the paper to card base over the Lost Lagoon and then added my leaves with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. To give it some bling, I added Wink of Stella to it. I cut my sentiment strip to the measurements and stamped my sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink, flagged the edges and added it with more dimensionals. I then added some of the Moody Palette Dots in white for more bling.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White. I then stamped the leaves on my envelope first then immediately on the inside layer to create the second generation ink.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create your way with your style. We would love to see your creation!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you. If you’d like to add any of the product I used to your stash, just head over to my online store. Every order placed will get a pack of handmade cards with their thank you card. Enjoy your week, and if you get the chance to get inky, even better!!
