Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I hope your start to the week is going well. Did you know that there are actually a couple of stamp sets that are not in the Annual Catalog? Yes, I’m today’s project is from one of them, the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set. We have a beginner’s brochure called Experience Creativity that helps out new stampers by showing them some of the coordinating products, plus some stamp sets that make learning to stamp really easy. Here are the dimensions on today’s card:
- Card base in Seaside Spray cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
- 2019/2021 In Color DSP cut at 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut with the largest Stitched Square
- Seaside Spray cardstock cut with the coordinating Scalloped Square
Today’s card is actually created from all scraps, my favorite way to use them up! I started by stamping the cloud image that also includes the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the cloud with the Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends, our brand of alcohol markers, and the heart shaped raindrops with the Light Real Red Blends marker. I wanted the cloud to shimmer, so I added some Wink of Stella. I cut it out and added it to the scalloped square. Next I glued the strip of DSP to the Whisper White layer and then tied the twine around it and into a bow and then glued it to the card base. I then added the scalloped square to the card base with dimensionals. I added some of the In Color Faceted Dots and called it done.
