Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! I wanted to share the first project for tomorrow night’s Hostess Club Workshop. This time of year with the catalog retiring it’s always harder to plan classes since you never know how quickly the retiring items disappear. The High Tide stamp set is one of the few from the Occasions Catalog that is going to be carried into the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. I just love this set!! The possibilities are endless with it.

I wanted a very subtle scene on this card, so I stamped off with all the images. I will tell you, the best way to build the scene with this set is to stamp the solid part of the lighthouse first, then the stamp second step of the lighthouse and then the sand. It makes it much easier to complete the scene without any spaces around the base of the lighthouse. Then I added the water and the birds. Each step I stamped off before stamping onto the Very Vanilla. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy in full strength of ink. I then added the Very Vanilla to the right side of the Marina Mist base and then added the Thick Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine, which I thought looked like rope. Love that twine, and will really miss it. Once I added the twine I adhered it to the Real Red card base.

The Retiring List is thinning out fast, so if you want the twine or any of these items first, head over to my online store here to place your order. When you use Hostess Code VRVF4CCF to place your order I will send you a package of handmade cards. If there’s anything that’s retiring that you want, don’t wait to place your order. Have a great evening and be sure to come back tomorrow for another sneak peek.
