Happy Thursday everyone! I hope your week is going well. We’re about to get hit with another atmospheric river here in the Northstate, so it’s gonna be wet for the next week or so….oh boy! If this is your first time in my neck of the woods, please be sure to join my email list here to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. This week’s Facebook Live, I played with the Online Exclusive suite called Hello, Irresistible. Such a gorgeous suite of product!! In fact, it’s been so popular, the Loose Frosted Dots are not orderable, but they will be back! For those not familiar with our Online Exclusive products, Stampin’ Up! is launching a new program. Every 90 days or so they will release another group of exclusive products. That way with the 3 catalogs we’ll be having new product just about every other month!  So were you able to catch my live? If not, you can watch the replay over on my YouTube Channel here. While you are there, please be sure to give my video a thumbs up. I would really appreciate it. Let’s look at our first card.

Here are the measurements:

  • Card bae in Thick Basic White cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Hello, Irresistible DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and the inside strip cut at 3/4″ x 5 1/2″

I started by attaching the DSP to the white layer and then both to card front with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. Next I stamped my envelope flap with the flower in Daffodil Delight ink and then on a scrap of white for a second generation ink. I die cut the flower and the label from the Something Fancy die set and then the two leave in Soft Sea Foam cardstock. I stamped my sentiment in Crumb Cake ink on the right of the label and added it with dimensionals. I attached the leaves to the back of the flower and then added it over the label. I tied a bow in Linen Thread and attached it to the label with a Mini Glue Dot. Next I sprinkled on some of the Loose Frosted Dots with Mini Glue Dots for my bling.

For the inside, I added the DSP and the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink. In the video I trimmed a piece at 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and layered it horizontally to the bottom of the inside and used a different sentiment.

Now let’s look at my second card with the DSP I created.

Here are the measurements:

  • Card base in Tahitian Tide cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 1/2″ x 5″ for the inside
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″

The fun part of this card is creating your own DSP. When you do this, it will never come out the same way twice! I chose Polished Pink, Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Mango Melody and Memento Tuxedo Black inks. Then I just stamped. You don’t want to really think about it so that your pattern is random. After I finished, I cut it to fit my black and attached it Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a piece of the Tahitian Tide Metallic Ribbon around 3 times and tucked into the adhesive and added to the card front. I punched a 2″ circle in the Parakeet Party (in the video I grabbed the retired 2 1/2″ punch by mistake) and a 1 3/4″ circle in white that I stamped my sentiment. I attached them together with Seal and then to the card front with dimensionals. I colored two rhinestones with my Tahitian Tide Dark Stampin’ Blends (in the video I didn’t color them and added more) and added them to the circle.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in black and added a piece strip at the bottom and attached it to the inside. (the strip in this picture is wider at 3/4″ x 5″)

And then I added some of my DSP to the envelope flap.

Weren’t those fun cards? Two completely different looks with the same stamp set! If you would like to order any of these products, just head over to my online store. When you use Host Code EZX38DBP and purchase $45.00 or more, not only will I send you a pack of handmade cards, but a free embellishment as well.
