Hey everyone! Happy February 1st!! How’s your Friday going? Ready for a final look at this week’s Product of the Week? You will actually get one more glimpse at it on the 26th because when I created this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday project, I used a piece of the Petal Pink printed vellum for that project, only to find out that I created February 26’s project instead of January 28th’s….so stay tuned for that one! lol So here are the measurements for today’s card:

  • Card base in Fresh Fig cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • DSP cut at 2 1/4″ x 4″

So I saved my favorite piece of DSP from the Floral Romance Specialty DSP pack for today. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this piece!! The colors are beautiful together! When you have a print on vellum, it  is always so soft anyway, and this just calls to me for some reason. But then the only way to make this any better is if the flowers were in blue! So after I had all my pieces in front of me, I stamped the Whisper White in Fresh Fig ink with one of the sentiments from the Life is Grand stamp set. I think the distinktive type rubber stamps look good in a font. Then adhered the piece of vellum using Mini Glue Dots. I added the piece of Ruffled Fresh Fig ribbon and tied a knot to give it a faux bow look. Next I adhered it to the card base. I had a left over little vellum butterfly from another project so I punched out another one in Fresh Fig. The large butterfly was just too overpowering for the card. I adhered the two together with a Mini Glue Dot, then added them to the card with another one. I was going to stop there, but I just wanted to add some pearls. This vellum just calls for pearls!! I added some to the butterfly and then sprinkled some on the vellum. Here’s a better look at the vellum part.

Isn’t it gorgeous?!? That Fresh Fig on the vellum really pops. Oh, and before I forget….Fresh Fig is retiring this year, so now is the time to stock up on all the items in that color.

I bet you’re wondering what the heck happened to my Fabulous Friday projects, right? Well….I was, and I should say eventually am, going to start doing a weekly Facebook Live, but….after the holidays we ended up putting our house on the market and things have gotten a little crazy trying to keep up with classes, pack up most of the house just to show it and then have to leave the house when realtors come through. So please be patient with me as I get through this and know that Facebook lives are coming…I PROMISE!  🙂

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you would like to order any of the products, just head over to my online store. When you place an order using Hostess Code 2X3WFV6N, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards. Who knows, this one could be in the pack! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
