Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! We’ve almost made it to another weekend!! Today we are looking at that fun stamp set from Sale-a-bration, Hello Cupcake. I think this is probably one of my favorites. Who doesn’t love cupcakes? Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Pineapple Punch cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
- How Sweet It Is DSP cut at 3″ x 4″
- Highland Heather cardstock cut at 2 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ for the inside
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 2 1/2″ x 3″ and 3″ x 4″ for the inside
I had a really small piece of the Pineapple Punch grosgrain ribbon on my desk, which is what prompted my colors for this project. I have to say that the Pineapple Punch cardstock is just happy cardstock! It’s so sunny-looking and any time there’s pineapple in anything, I just say yum! I grabbed a piece of the DSP and trimmed it down, then added that piece of ribbon and adhered it down to the card base. I stamped my cupcake using Gorgeous Grape for the base, Early Espresso for the cake portion (looks like chocolate to me!) and Pineapple Punch for the frosting. I used Gorgeous Grape for the sprinkles and Melon Mambo for the little heart. I added this to the Highland Heather mat and glued it down with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape on the card front. The great thing about photopolymer stamps is you can see right through them to know where you’re stamping! Then I added some of the Glitter Enamel Dots.
Then I stamped the inside and glued it all down with Snail. Love how it all coordinates!!
I can’t believe there’s only 3 more days of Sale-a-bration!!!!!!! If this is a stamp set that you haven’t added to your collection yet, now is the time to get it! You can get it for FREE when you spend $50.00 and when you shop at my online store and use Hostess Code ETS4STVK, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards.
