Hello everyone! Happy First Day of Fall!!! To celebrate, I chose the Harvest Hellos Bundle for this week’s Product of the Week. How appropriate is that? For our first look I have cased my project from our Club and Stamping with the Girls event. Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Come to Gather DSP cut at 2″ x 5 1/4″
- Pretty Peacock cardstock 1″ x 5 1/4″ punched with the Decorative Ribbon Punch
So rather then share the project from Friday, I cased my own card! lol and with all scraps too! I a piece of the Come to Gather DSP from a previous project and added the strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock that had been punched with the strip punch. I love this punch as it creates a strip that can be used as a border or a focal piece. I ran a strip of adhesive down one side and glued the ribbon piece to the edge and then glued it down to the card base. I wrapped a piece of the Reversible Ribbon that is in Old Olive and Pretty Peacock colors with a shimmer and tied it in a bow. Next I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink. I grabbed a piece of Cherry Cobbler and stamped the apple in Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out. I stamped the leaf in Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock and punched it out and then punched a stem in Soft Suede cardstock. I assembled the apple with Mini Glue Dots and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I then added a couple of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones and then some Wink of Stella on the apple. I think it turned out sooooo cute!!!
