Hey everyone! I hope your Thursday is going well. I’m trying to get caught up on some birthday cards to send out and thought I’d share this one. It’s using the new Happy Wishes stamp set that’s in our Sale-a-bration Catalog. It’s a pretty big stamp set with 2 cases of sentiments. Here are the measurements for the card:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic Black cardstock layer cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock layer cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Petal Passion Designer Series Paper cut at 2″ x 5 1/4″
I stamped the happy sentiment on the Whisper White layer at the top of the layer. Then adhered it to the Basic Black layer. I used my Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends to color the dots on the DSP and added it to the 2 layers. I tied a piece of the Bermuda Bay Shimmer Ribbon across the DSP layer. I think I should have cut it at 1 3/4″, but oh well. 🙂 Then I adhered it to the card base. I stamped the birthday on a scrap piece of Whisper White, then cut it with one of the banners from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. I wanted to bring in more of the Bermuda Bay, so I punched out a piece of the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper with the Pretty Label Punch, added the banner with some Mini Glue Dots and added both to the card front with dimensionals. I think it turned out pretty good. Now to get back and make some more. I hope you have a great afternoon!
