Hey everyone! Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little world, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? And my favorite – sweet & simple!! I followed the sketch precisely for my take using the Happy Place stamp set from the upcoming Sept.-Dec. Mini Catalog that goes live September 3rd. It is a red rubber stamp set, which makes it perfect for inking with our Stampin’ Write Markers. In case you haven’t heard, Stampin’ Up! is discontinuing red rubber stamps due to issues obtaining the raw materials. And as a result of that and extremely low sales to our Stampin’ Write Markers, those too are retiring, in fact, they are now on the Last Chance List.

This stamp set is sooooo cute and one I just had to get during the demonstrator pre-order period. You see, my husband and I are headed to Maui for our 40th anniversary and thought this would make some adorable scrapbook pages when we get back.

I started with a Blueberry Bushel card base and added a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of the 2025/2027 In Color DSP in Darling Duckling with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. For my sentiment, I colored it with my Azure Afternoon, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Markers, huffed on it to moisten the ink and stamped it on the sentiment strip. I then added it to the card front with more Seal. For the image, I added one of the die cuts from the Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, which is where the pear in the sample came from. These die cuts are actually stickers, but I left the sticker paper on the image so I could add it to the card with dimensionals. For my bling, I thought using rhinestones would be perfect.

For the inside, I stamped the retirement sentiment and a sentiment from the Notes & Totes stamp set in Azure Afternoon and added another of the die cut stickers. The Basic White layer measures 5″ x 3 3/4″ and is attached with Seal. Apparently I struggled with stamping straight, but that’s okay, it shows that it is handmade. 😉

Don’t forget to decorate your envelope. I stamped the sentiment again, making sure I inked with the Darling Duckling marker first and then the Balmy Blue maker so that I didn’t muddy the colors as much as the one on the front of the card. I then stamped another sentiment from the Happy Place stamp set.

I guess I could have redone the sentiment strip on the card front, but again, it’s handmade, flaws and all. Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s card and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way and with your style.

Thanks for stopping by this week. This is the last week to take advantage of the 2025/2027 In Color Sale, plus, you don’t want to miss out on the Stampin’ Write Markers before they are gone. Just head over to my online store here to stock up! Have a great week!
