Hey everyone! Happy Monday! It is so good to be back in my scraproom! Hope you all had a good weekend. I got back to town on Friday afternoon, just in time to finish prepping for my monthly card class and my team meeting on Saturday. We had a swap at our team meeting and the theme was to make a kids card and I wanted to share mine using the Birthday Delivery Bundle. Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Blushing Bride cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Night of Navy cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Naturally Eclectic DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Night of Navy cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Birthday Memories DSP cut at 3″ x 4″
I love that little girl in the Birthday Memories DSP! She reminds me of the little girl in the old Campbell Soup commercials. That little face is just so stinking cute! This DSP is special because you can cut out images using the coordinating framelits, and the paper is part of the bundle! How cool is that? First I cut her out using the coordinating framelits. The sheet has the images printed in 3″ x 3″ squares, so it’s easy to cut out one of the images and layer it over another. Then I layered is to the Night of Navy layer. Then I found that the Naturally Eclectic DSP has a piece that matches perfectly, so I cut it and layered it on the larger Night of Navy layer. Then I added the Night of Navy Gingham ribbon to the layer and adhered it to the card base. I added dimensionals to the other layers and added them over the ribbon. I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, punched it out with the Classic Label Punch and adhered it to the card base with some of the Mini Dimensionals. I then added two of the Enamel Glitter Dots and called it done. Super easy card and I love the color combination. Isn’t it great how you can coordinate so many different items and they work together perfectly?
I have to say I am surprised the Birthday Delivery items are not carrying forward, and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set is retiring too! That has been around forever!
