Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I know I usually have a new Product of the Week on Mondays, but with the 2018/2019 Annual Catalog coming to a close, I’m going to have some last looks at retiring product. Today we are playing with three different retiring items; the Hand Delivered Host Stamp Set, Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and that gorgeous Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. And, you guessed it, this card was created with all scraps!! Woo hoo!! Here are the measurements of the card:

  • Card base in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″, 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″, and 3″ x 4″ on the inside
  • Gingham Gala DSP cut at 2″ x 5 1/4″
  • Night of Navy cardstock cut at 2 3/4″ x 4″

We have had a lot of cute hostess stamp sets over the years, the ones you can earn for free with a qualifying order or party, but this one is just so stinking cute!! I love that you can create the scene to fit your occasion. The card base was already created for another project I was going creating, but scrapped it and went a different way. THIS is why I don’t throw anything away!! lol To create the card base I adhered the DSP layer to the Whisper White layer, then both to the card base. So today I just needed to create the image/sentiment layers. I chose to go with a thank you as you can never have enough of those. I took my top layer and stamped the girl’s image and then added the flowers for the skirt in Tuxedo Black ink. Next I stamped the sign image. I started by coloring the flowers with the Light Granny Apple Green, Dark Daffodil Delight, and the Flirty Flamingo Combo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I was going to leave the skirt white, but I went out of the lines a little. To hide that, I colored the base of the skirt with the Light Night of Navy Blends Marker. See? You didn’t even know there was a mistake there!! lol I used the Ivory Blends Marker for her legs and fingers. Then I added that layer to the Night of Navy mat, then adhered them both to card front. I colored a few of the rhinestones with the Light Granny Apple Green marker, sprinkled them on and voila! All done!

Isn’t she cute? I love Lemon Lime Twist and I really hate to see it go, but Granny Apple Green is a good replacement! Here’s a look at the inside:

Isn’t it great to use up all those scrap pieces?!? And we always need thank you cards!! So what do you think? If you would like to order any of these items, don’t wait especially since things are selling out. The Lemon Lime Twist cardstock pack is already gone. You can shop by heading over to my online store. You can get this stamp for FREE when you place a qualifying order. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your day. Be sure to stop by tomorrow for another CASE-ing Tuesday.
