Hey everyone! Happy Hump Day!! I thought I’d share with you another project we created at our team meeting last weekend. Everyone is loving the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle and we are no different. Here are the measurements for the card:

  • Card base in Petal Pink cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Magnolia Lane DSP cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 2″ and 2 3/8″ x 2 3/8″ cut with the square die
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 5″ and 2 1/8″ x 2 1/8″ stitched square die

After I cut all the papers to size, I cut off about one inch of the card base on one side with the edge die in the Magnolia Memory Dies. Then I cut about 2″ off the bottom of the DSP, saving the piece I cut off for the inside of the card. Next I cut one end of the Mossy Meadow layer with the die and then glued it to the back of the DSP and then both to the card front. I stamped the magnolia in Tuxedo Black ink on the stitched square and colored it with the Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. I glued it down to the Mossy Meadow square and added a dimensional in each of the corners and added it to the card front. Then by putting dimensionals only on the corners, you can slip that gorgeous Petal Pink ribbon under the layers to create the closure for the card. Because the DSP is so beautiful I didn’t want to add too much bling, so I added one small rhinestone to the base of the flower.

For the inside, I stamped the giant magnolia in Petal Pink, but stamped off first. Then I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and glued down the layer to the inside of the card. Next I glued the left over piece of DSP, but with the back side facing up. Tie the ribbon around the card and you are done. Isn’t it pretty?
