Hey everyone! I hope you have been having a good weekend. It’s starting to feel like summer here, already hitting over 100, so for me, a good time to stay in and craft.
I wanted to share a card I made using one of the new hostess stamp sets. As a demonstrator we can preorder several items from the new catalog prior to it’s release and this is one that I purchased. It’s a great two step stamp set and has several sentiments included which makes it very versatile.
I used two of the new new in colors, Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy. Just a quick and simple card you could use for any occasion. The second green used to fill in the leaves is Wild Wasabi. I used a little bit of the Wink of Stella in the center of the flower, but it doesn’t show in the photo. This stamp set made me think of my mom since she had so many of them planted at her house. She loved her gladiolus, in fact, I think she may have had some this color. Amazing what you think of subconsciously. She’ll be gone 3 years next month, hard to believe. So in retrospect, this one’s for you Mom.
