Hey everyone! Happy Friday and Memorial Day Weekend! I am getting ready for my second vendor fair tomorrow and I wanted to show you the cute gift card holder I made. I made several in all the different school colors that everyone could get something a little personalized. Isn’t it cute??

I used multiple stamp sets on it, including one that is on the retiring list, B.Y.O.P. which is actually on a low inventory status too. It is the PERFECT set for gift cards!! The 2 sentiments I used from this set is Congrats Grad and now go and choose a gift. I have had this set since it came out and hardly ever used it. Well, guess what is going in my “can’t give up” stash?!? Funny, that stash is getting bigger and bigger!! lol The other sets I used were Tin of Tags stamp set from the Holiday Catalog, Perfect Pairings, which was a Sale-a-Bration set from last year and a past Paper Pumpkin kit. And this is why I keep so many sets, you just never know when you can use them!

The pattern on this card is so simple to mass produce. I used the Thick Whisper White cardstock, and you’ll get 2 gift card holders out of a single sheet. The card base is 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ and scored at 3, 4 1/4, and 5 1/2. Fold the cardstock in half at the 4 1/4″ score mark and then using the Classic Label Punch, punch out a section big enough to slide in a gift card. Using Fast Fuse or other strong adhesive, glue the base of the card shut and fold up the front and back sides of the card and decorate. For this one I used Dapper Denim and Crushed Curry with Basic Black Archival Ink. The measurements for the panels are 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and 2 1/5″ x 5″ and the flag is 1″ x 3 1/5″ and flagged with the Triple Banner Punch.

Now if you just have to get your hands on the B.Y.O.P. (which stands for Buy Your Own Present), just head over here to place your order. When you use Hostess Code 97HGXFU7, I’ll send you a free gift. Did you know that if you decide to join the Stampin’ Up! family right now, you could actually add brand new items before the new catalog goes live on Thursday? Yep! $99.00 and you get to choose $125.00 worth of product with FREE Shipping and you get to choose whatever you want! Best. Deal. Ever. So while you’re shopping, check out the Join the Fun tab.

So what are your places for the weekend? I’ll be spending my Saturday at the Happy Valley Strawberry Festival and then, Sunday and Monday, hanging with the family. I hope whatever you get to do for the weekend, remember what Memorial Day is for, those that gave their lives for us to live in this great country. Have a great weekend!
