Hey everyone! I’m busy getting ready to leave for Las Vegas for OnStage and I wanted to share my swap cards with you. For those that don’t know what OnStage is, it is formerly known as Convention. This is going to be a one-day event with Stampin’ Up! and 100’s of other demonstrators. I am so excited to see friends from other parts of the country and the best part, we get to see the new Annual Catalog!! We’ll even get to create Make ‘n Takes with all new product! This is my 5th or 6th Stampin’ Up! event and they just keep getting better. This year won’t be any different, especially since we are celebrating 30 years!! That is huge for a paper crafting company, but especially for a multi-level marketing company.
One of the things I love about going to these events is swapping with other demonstrators. If you aren’t familiar with swapping, it’s where you make a bunch of the same style of card or project and you swap them with others as you get their projects. It’s exciting to see everyone’s style of stamping and all the cute projects. Some of the women (and a few men too) create more then 100 items to swap. Not sure how they find time for that, but they do. I’ve got 60 cards created to swap. I used the True Gentleman Suite and created 20 of each of 3 colors. I know I struggle with masculine cards and figured others could always use an extra idea. And besides, the design was already done…we made the Chocolate Chip card in one of my classes. The work of designing was done, all I had to do was mass create!! 🙂 Here’s a look at my swap bag. I purchased a few of these Thirty-One bags and had them personalized to use in my business and these little ones are perfect to carry swap cards in.
I also wanted to let you know that my posting will be sporadic for the next 2 weeks and there won’t be any Fabulous Friday posts since I will be out of town. We’re making this a mini-vacation while we’re at it. Not to mention getting to spend time with my sister. I haven’t seen her in over a year, so we have a lot of catching up to do!!
Thank you for stopping by and remember to come back tomorrow for another CASE-ing Tuesday project. Have a great week and I will catch you later!
