Hey everyone! TGIF!!! We made it to Friday, even if it is Friday the 13th and a full moon!!! Are you ready for another look at this week’s Product of the Week? I am really having fun with this suite of products. There is just so much to love about it! Here are the measurements for today’s card:

  • Card base in Early Espresso cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Come to Gather DSP cut at 2″ x 3″
  • Whisper White cut at 3/4″ x 3″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″

I can proudly say this is another “made from scraps” project. I love challenging myself to see how many I can use! So I started with the scrap of DSP and pulled my color choices from it. I started by punching out a 2″ circle of Pretty Peacock and another in Mint Macaron. I then cut one of the leaves in Pretty Peacock and one in Early Espresso cardstock. I then had an idea to ink up the die in Pretty Peacock ink and then cut out two of the leaves in Whisper White. I love how they turned out!!! Next I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a scrap strip of Whisper White cardstock and flagged the end. I then started assembling the whole thing. I started by gluing the Pretty Peacock circle to the back of the DSP, then I added the Mint Macaron circle to the front. I glued one of the Whisper White leaves to the back of the Pretty Peacock circles. I then glued the other three leaves together and added them to the front of the Mint Macaron circle. I finally glued everything to the card front and added the sentiment layer. I added a double bow of Whisper White Baker’s Twine  to the leaves with a Mini Glue Dot and then added some of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.

Then I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and the wheat in Pretty Peacock ink on the inside layer and glued to the card.

What do you think? I don’t know about you, but I love the colors in this card! I really like to try and use some non-traditional colors and I think this one fits that bill.
