I wanted to share another look at the Gather Together Bundle. I wanted something with a little more fall colors and I think this one fits the bill. Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Cajun Craze cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Come to Gather DSP cut at 2 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- Gold Glimmer Paper cut at 3″ x 3″
- Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ for the inside
Playing with our Designer Series Paper always makes creating so much easier since all you have to do is match the colors in the paper.I went with the Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze printed piece for today’s card and decided to throw in some Gold Glimmer. After I cut the papers to the above measurements, I started by stamping the Very Vanilla square first. I stamped the leaf in Cajun Craze ink, stamping off first so that I could stamp the sentiment over it with the Merry Merlot. Double stamping like this is one of my favorite techniques, so I did the same for the inside. After stamping the layers, I attached the square to the Gold Glimmer square with Mini Glue Dots. Next I tied a scrap piece of the Gold Metallic Edged Ribbon around the bottom of the DSP and glued it to the card base. I added the squares on top of that with dimensionals. So simple!
Next I glued the larger Very Vanilla layer to the inside and called it done.
The Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze colors just scream fall and pair so well together! I am so happy that things are finally starting to cool off and head into the fall season. Definitely my favorite!!
