Hey everyone, happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well. Today’s project is brand new product from the new 2021/2023 Annual Catalog, in fact, this was one of the cards from my Stampin’ Bingo event last Friday night. Everyone LOVED this card! Were you able to catch today’s Facebook Live? If not, you can watch the replay on my YouTube Channel here. While you are there, I would love it if you would like and share my video and of course, subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already.

Don’t you just love the colors? Here are the measurements for the card:

  • Polished Pink cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ and 3″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Bermuda Bay cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 4″ x 2 3/4″
  • Coastal Caban cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 4″ x 2 3/4″
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 4″ x 2 3/4″
  • Pattern Party Host DSP 2 cut at 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″

I know there are a lot of layers for this card, but it is actually very simple to put together. Once you have all of your layers cut, start with the inside of the main card base. Fold at the score line so that it closes by folding up. Glue the Coastal Cabana layer to the Bermuda Bay layer and then both to the inside of the card. Next take the smaller card base and fold at the score line. This gets attached to the inside of the main card base by adding adhesive to the back and then layering it on the base so that it closes over the flap of the main card base. The outside of that flap has the smaler layer of Coastal Cabana and a piece of the DSP glued to that and then both to the top. On the bottom flap of the main card base, glue the other piece of DSP to the Bermuda Bay layer and then wrap a piece of the white Baker’s Twine twice, securing it in the back and then glue them both to the flap. Tie a double bow in the twine to add with a Mini Glue Dot right next to the close layer of the second card base.

Now for the stamping! Take your Basic White layer and stamp your Party Puffin with the birthday hat and the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink. I colored his hat with the Light Bermuda Bay, Light Daffodil Delight, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends, the alcohol markers from Stampin’ Up!. I then glued that to the inside of the card.

For the front of the card, I stamped the birthday cake in Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the same Blends Markers and punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch. I added it to the card front with dimensionals and colored the frosting and the flames on the candles with Wink of Stella. I then added just a little knot of the new Polished Pink Ribbon. LOVE that ribbon!! Here’s a side view of the whole card.

For the envelope I just stamped the candles image and colored them with the Blends Markers to coordinate with the card. How fun is that?? It really is a happy birthday card!!

Now, I wanted to let you know that I am not going to have a Facebook Live for the next 2, possibly 3 weeks. Next week I will be preparing for our Stamp Club and Stampin’ w/the Girls and our Diva Team Meeting events and then the following week I will be in Maui!! All thanks to you!! So, in light of this, I will be having an ordering special while I am gone, but you get to take advantage of it starting today! When you shop from me using Host Code CD7PJNBT and your order is $50.00 or more, I am going to send you a thank you gift, but you must use the Host Code. I have some stamp sets, including the special host stamp sets from Sale-a-bration that need good homes, so not only will you receive a new embellishment from the new Annual Catalog, but you will get a free stamp set too! I am so grateful for all of you who support my business and help me earn the incentive trip! From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!!

I hope you have a fantastic week and I thank you for stopping by!
