Hey everyone! Hope your Wednesday is going well. I wanted to share a fun fold card with you today. It’s using the new Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper and 2 of the Sale-a-bration items that you can get for free with a qualifying order. Here are the measurements for the card:
- Calypso Coral cardstock flat card base cut at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- Powder Pink cardstock layer cut at 5″ x 7 1/2″, scored at 3 3/4″
- DSP cut at 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 3 1/4″, scored at 2 3/4″
- DSP cut at 3 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
First I cut the word “celebrate” out of a scrap piece of silver foil with the thinlet that is from the Celebrate You thinlet set that is one of the Sale-a-bration items. Then I cut the Powder Pink cardstock, scored it and adhered it to the front of the card base. Then I adhered the DSP to the front. I took a piece of the Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon from the pack that is also a Sale-a-bration item and added some Fast Fuse to the back and adhered it to the DSP. Using some Multipurpose Glue, I adhered the word to the ribbon. That liquid glue is easy to use and a little goes a long way. Then for the inside fold, I added the Whisper White piece to open to the right. Then added the other piece of DSP to the front of that fold. That pattern is actually the back side of the pattern used on the front of the card.
Then using some Basic Gray ink, I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set. I think it looks like a card within a card.
