Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! I never had a chance to share this project with you and I wanted to be sure you had a chance to see it. You know that blue and yellow is my favorite color combo and this one is exactly that!

Don’t you just love the brightness of that yellow? It’s the soon-to-be retired In Color Pineapple Punch. Here are the measurements for this card:

  • Card base in Pineapple Punch cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Blueberry Bushel cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ for the inside

I saw a thank you card from a fellow demonstrator using this stamp set and I knew I had to dust it off and play with it again. After I chose my colors and had my cardstock cut, I pulled out my inks and started by stamping the large roses and one of the rose buds in Blueberry Bushel ink. Then I stamped three of the smaller roses in Pineapple Punch. Next I added my leaves in Granny Apple Green ink. Next I added the little filler in Bermuda Bay ink. For the flower centers I stamped them in Pineapple Punch and Blueberry Bushel inks. Next I added the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel and glued the layers together and to the card front. Then I added some rhinestones for bling.

For the inside I stamped one of the smaller roses in Blueberry Bushel ink, stamping off first and then added the Pineapple Punch for the center. The sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and voila! Done!

Isn’t that adorable? I think whoever gets this card in the mail is just going to smile when they open it! If you have any of the 2018/2020 In Color items, it’s good to stock up now as they will be retiring at the end of May. Those colors include:

  • Blueberry Bushel
  • Call Me Clover

I love all of these colors, but the yellow and blue just make me smile! If you would like to order any of these items, just head over to my online store. The Host Code for February is GYWDNDAH. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic Thursday!
