Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well. I’ve been playing with the Curvy Christmas this week and just couldn’t wait to share this card with you. If you missed my Facebook Live, you can catch the replay here on my YouTube channel. While you’re there, I would love it if you liked my video and even better, subscribe to my channel.

I just love the farmhouse look and had to create it with this card. Isn’t it adorable? And yes, I was able to use scraps for my card! Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Real Red cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock 2 cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Plaid Tidings DSP cut at 2″ x 5 1/4″

I chose the simple dot edged die for this and die cut one of my pieces of Whisper White. I saved the other piece to use on another project. I grabbed the Curvy Christmas stamp set and stamped the pine branches in Mossy Meadow ink. I stamped the one on the right facing in to follow the lines of the curve, and then turned it over, reinked it and stamped it on the left. Then I stamped the sentiment in Real Red above the branches. I glued the DSP on the bottom half of the card, leaving 1/4″ on the three sides, and then glued the stamped layer on top of that, again making sure the three sides had 1/4″ around it. Next I punched out a small ornament in gold foil and added it to the card front with a dimensional and added a faux bow in the Real Red Sheer Ribbon. For my bling, I added Red Rhinestones. I don’t know about you, but I think it is just too stinking cute!!!

For the inside, I stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow at the bottom of the Whisper White layer and then added the sentiment above the trees in Real Red ink.

And of course, my envelope got decorated too with another piece of that gorgeous plaid! I love decorating my envelopes this way.

So what do you think? Decorating those envelopes like this not only gives your project a more coordinated look, but helps you use up your stash! And I thought this was a fairly simple project that can be mass produced depending on your paper stash.

If you would like to order any of the items from today’s project or just need something, you can place your order at my online store here. When you use Host Code CJC6A6AP and order $40.00 or more, I’ll send you a surprise embellishment with your thank you card! I just love surprises, how about you? Just a reminder, there won’t be a Facebook Live next week since it’s Thanksgiving. In fact, I’m going to take the week off. I thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day.
