Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!! Were you able to catch my Facebook Live this morning? If not, you can catch the replay here. When you watch it, please be patient with me, I was really having a tough time this morning…guess I didn’t get enough coffee!! lol I thought today was a perfect day to share two of my alternates for the March Paper Pumpkin kit. This was the anniversary kit that came with 2 stamp sets and it did not disappoint!!! The first card is a fun fold.
Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Lovely Lipstick cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Shaded Spruce cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, scored at 3 1/4″
- Best Dressed DSP cut at 3″ x 5 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 2 3/4″ c 5″ for the inside
As you can tell, I absolutely love the Best Dressed DSP and I think it goes perfectly with this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit! I chose my piece of DSP and built my card around that color palette. I created my card base and glued down the Shaded Spruce and then added my DSP. For the label, I cut one of the labels from the Stitched So Sweetly die set from a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the basket of flowers image from the large stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink. Then I stamped the flower petal image over the outline in Lovely Lipstick ink. I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink at the base. I added dimensionals to the back and added it to the card front. I then added two of the Holiday Rhinestones and some Wink of Stella and the front was done.
For the inside layer, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink and the small flower in Lovely Lipstick, stamping off first. Then I glued it down to the inside and I was done.
Now for the second card:
Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Basic Gray cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ for the inside
I took one of the card bases and cut out the largest stitched oval from the front of the card and the coordinating scalloped oval from the back. I stamped the outline of the boots in Basic Gray ink and the flower image in Night of Navy ink. I glued the two layers together and attached it to the card front with dimensionals. I then grabbed some of the Pleased as Punch DSP and punched out the umbrella and handle and glued them together with a little snail and then added it to the card front with a dimensional. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on one of the labels from the kit and added it to the card front with dimensionals. Then I added some more of the Holiday Rhinestones.
For the inside I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and the cute little bunny in Basic Gray.
