Welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Have you enjoyed this week’s projects using the Trick or Tweet stamp set? That set is just too stinking cute not to enjoy it! And today’s project is a perfect quick and easy treat holder for teacher’s gifts or coworkers or even your sweetie! And it holds a full size Hershey bar. SWWEEEETTTT!!! Did you get a chance to see my video for this yet? If not, you can check it out on my YouTube channel. While you’re there, please be sure to subscribe to my channel. Here are the measurements for today’s project:

  • Toil & Trouble DSP cut at 6″ x 6″, scored on one side at 1/2″
  • Black Foil Paper cut at 2″ x 3″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 1 3/4″ x 2 3/4″

After you have cut your DSP, you want to score the bottom of the paper according to how the print is laid out. If it’s an all over print, you won’t have to worry about it. To put it together, add some strong adhesive to the the scored mark and fold over and adhere to the back side of your DSP. Next you want to staple one end so that your candy bar doesn’t fall out. I used a piece of the Glittered Ribbon and tied it in a knot. Next I stamped that cute elephant on the edge of the Whisper White piece and colored her using the Smokey Slate Blends Combo markers. I say “her” because I colored her toenails with the Dark Highland Heather Blends Marker. Then I colored her mask with the Light Highland Heather marker and her wings with the Light Basic Black marker. To stamp the sentiment, I masked the “for you” and inked up just the “batty”, stamped it, then did the same with the “for you”., just be sure to remove whatever you use to mask it with before you stamp. I adhered it to the Black Foil piece, then ran a strip of adhesive on the back left side and adhered it down to the front of the wrapper just underneath the ribbon. I punched out some of those spooky bats in the Black Foil and added one to the label. You know those other two will show up on another project.  😉 Isn’t that adorable? And so simple!! Just think how many you can make with a pack of DSP!!! It’s the best way to use it all up!
