Hello and welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Today’s project features brand new items from the upcoming Occasions Catalog that goes live on next Wednesday, January 3rd. You’re going to love all the new product that’s coming! And this stamp set that we’re using today is going to be one of my favorites! We are using the new Petal Palette Stamp Set, the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and the new Whisper White Organza Ribbon. Remember the organza ribbon that everyone loved and retired a couple of years ago? Very similar, only smaller. The new DSP is beautiful in the black and white patterns. You can color them or leave them in black and white. So very versatile! Did you see today’s video yet? If not, just head over here to watch it, and while you’re there, please subscribe to my channel.
The measurements for today’s card are:
- Cad base in Melon Mambo, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic Black Layer cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White layer cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″
- DSP layer cut at 2″ x 3 3/4″
This is my take on a card I cased because I loved the simplicity of it. To create the card, stamp the sentiment at the lower right of the Whisper White layer and set aside. Using a scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the roses from the Petal Palette Stamp Set in Basic Black. I colored them with the Melon Mambo and Old Olive Watercolor Pencils and then used a Blender Pen to soften the look. Once I was done with that, I punch out the center of the image with the 2″ Circle Punch. I then punched out a piece of Melon Mambo using the Starburst Punch and attached the circle to this. Once that’s done, add a piece of doily to the back. Punch out 2 leaves with the Leaf Punch, which I’m happy to say is a carry over, then add them to either side of the doily and set aside to attach in a minute.
Adhere the DSP to the center of the Whisper White layer, then adhere both to the Basic Black layer. Then tie a piece of the ribbon around the layers and tie in a knot over the DSP and to the left; then adhere all to the card base. Adhere the Starburst with dimensionals to the right of the knot on the ribbon. Sprinkle on some Black Rhinestones and you’re done. Pretty simple, huh?
Now, the Black Rhinestone are only going to be available until Tuesday, January 2nd, so if you haven’t stocked up, now’s the time. The Year End Sale is still going on as is the reservation period for the Stampapratus. So head over here to shop til you drop. When you use Hostess Code W6U4CHF7 and your order is $35.00 or more before shipping and tax, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards. If your order is $50.00 or more, I’ll include a free gift. Right now I have 2 brand new stamp sets that I am giving away to the first 2 $50.00 order. If available, you’ll have a choice of either the Every Good Wish Stamp Set or the Brightly Lit Christmas Stamp Set. Everyone likes to get happy mail, and either of those sets will be good ones to add to your stash.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous Friday!
