Welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Today we take a final look at this week’s Product of the Week, the Many Blessings stamp set. Have you had a chance to see today’s video? If not, be sure to stop by my YouTube Channel to check it out. While you are there, please subscribe to my channel.
So here are the measurements for the gift card holder:
- One Medium Whisper White Envelope (A2 sized envelope)
- Joyous Noel Specialty DSP cut at 4 1/2″ x 7″
To start you want to fold your envelope in half. Snip the flap of the envelope at the fold line, stopping at the end of the flap. Trim off one of the halves and seal the other. Now add adhesive to one side of the envelope on the outside of the fold, then with the fold opening facing the edge of the DSP, adhere the envelope down all the way to the edge. Then add adhesive to the other side of the envelope and fold the DSP over top to adhere it down. You will have about a 1 1/2″ flap of DSP, that folds over the backside of the envelope to create the closure.
Slip your gift card into the opening of the envelope, close the holder and add a piece of the Merry Merlot/Copper Ribbon around the closed flap and tie it in a knot to the left. Stamp the sentiment in Merry Merlot and the little ornament underneath the sentiment in Versa Mark. Sprinkle on some Copper Embossing Powder and heat set. Punch this out with the 2″ Circle Punch and layer on a piece of Copper Foil that has been punched with the Starburst Punch. Add a couple of dimensionals just to the top and add it next to the knot.
Isn’t that the cutest gift card holder? And so simple! You know you have envelopes that you would use for the gift card, so why not make the holder really cute and memorable?
