Hello and welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Today we are featuring a cute gingerbread man gift card holder. You know the clock is ticking down, we have less then 10 days until Christmas; and you know you’re going to be buying some gift cards! So here’s a cute way to give that special person a gift card. First let’s get all the measurements:
- Card base in Cherry Cobbler, cut at 3″ x 10″, scored at 4″ and 8″
- DSP cut at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
- Whisper White cut at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
- Scalloped Oval in Garden Green
- Oval in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
First stamp the “To and From” on the inside panel of Whisper White in Garden Green. Then fold the score lines of the base and add the Whisper White panel to the inside center of the base. Using Tear and Tape adhesive, add two strips to the inside bottom panel (the short panel) of the base close to the edge and folding up towards the Whisper White, adhere down to create the pocket.
Add adhesive to the DSP and adhere it to the front of the card base. Take a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine and wrapping it around the top of the card base twice and tie in a bow to the left of the base. Adhere the glimmer piece to the scalloped piece, add a couple of dimensionals then adhere over the twine. Using a scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the gingerbread man in Soft Suede ink and punch out. Then stamp the bow in Garden Green and punch that out. Using Mini Glue Dots, assemble the gingerbread man and adhere him to the glimmer oval, also with Mini Glue Dots. Then take your Dark Cherry Cobbler Blends marker and color two of the smaller rhinestones and them add them for his buttons. And there you go! Isn’t he adorable?!?
