Welcome to another Fabulous Friday. I have a project for you today, but unfortunately no video. One of my dogs had dental surgery this week and I just ran out of time. I did take extra pictures for this so you can see step by step how to complete it. Here are the measurements:
- Base in Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 4″ x 10″ scored at 5 3/4″ and 6 1/4″
- Santa’s Workshop DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 3 and 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
- 1 1/2″ circle of Whisper White cardstock
- 1 3/4″ scalloped circle of Crumb Cake cardstock
That’s it! After you cut and score your Crumb Cake you want to fold at the two score lines to create a pocket. The short end is actually the front of the pocket.
Next you want to adhere the larger DSP to the front of the pocket and the strip at the top of the back of the pocket, then tie a piece of the Poppy Parade Textured Weave ribbon around it to close it.
Next, stamp the candy cane heart image in Poppy Parade and the for you sentiment in Crumb Cake ink and adhere the circle to the scalloped circle. Add a couple of dimensionals to the back of the scalloped circle and then add to the front straddling the ribbon.
Slip in your hot cocoa mix and candy canes and you’re good to go!
Isn’t that the cutest little teacher or coworker gift? And who doesn’t like putting candy canes in their hot cocoa? Yum!! The perfect stir stick!! lol Now you know you need to get this stamp set! The DSP is on backorder at the moment, but not to fret! It will be back very soon. If you would like to shop today, just head over to my online store to place your order.
