Welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Today we are creating a beautiful wedding card using the Blended Seasons Bundle. Have you seen today’s video? If not, please be sure to visit my YouTube Channel. Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Flirty Flamingo cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4
- Petal Promenade DSP cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
If you have used the Petal Promenade DSP at all, you will notice that Flirty Flamingo is not listed as one of the coordinating colors. Here is the nice thing about Stampin’ Up! products – they all coordinate together! I wanted to tone down the DSP a little, but without covering it up. This is where vellum works really well. I cut out the largest label in the vellum and adhered it to the DSP with some Snail adhesive. I cut out the smallest label in Whisper White and stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink. I added some adhesive on the back and adhered 4 of the leaves/berries that were cut in some Champagne Foil. Gotta have some champagne at a wedding, right? 😉 I then added some dimensionals and added it to the front of the card. Next I stamped two of the bells in Memento and colored them with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. I used the Flirty Flamingo from the new Assortment 2 pencils and the Basic Gray and Basic Black from the original pack of pencils. Next, I cut them out and added them with Mini Dimensionals to the label. I added some Wink of Stella on the bells and rhinestones to the ties. Isn’t that a quick and easy card? You know it’s my favorite!
