Hello! Happy Thursday! Ready for another look at those adorable Fable Friends? Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Gingham Gala DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
When I chose the large goose to stamp today I thought her little outfit looked like a raincoat so I decided to go with Daffodil Delight for my base color. I stamped her with Tuxedo Black ink because I was going to use my alcohol markers. I used the combo Blends for her jacket and hat and the Light Pumpkin Pie for her feet and beak. For the inside of the beak I used the Light Petal Pink. Next I stamped the grass in Granny Apple Green multiple times without re-inking the stamp for some. I cut her out with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I stamped the sentiment in black too. I wanted to create a frame for the picture, so I took two coordinating framelits and cut out a frame in Daffodil Delight cardstock. Next for the card front, I cut the DSP and added a piece of the Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon and glued it down. To I glued the goose layer right to the DSP and then took the dimensional sheet and trimmed a strip to fit the small frame and added it to the card front. Keeping with the yellow theme, I added some of the Artisan Pearls in yellow and ta da! Done!
I love all the stitching elements to the card with everything. Stampin’ Up! makes creating so easy!!! I hope you like today’s card. If you would like to purchase any of the items, just head over to my online store here and when you order using Hostess Code YBAMEJ9U, I’ll send you some happy mail!
