Hey everyone! Welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Today we are creating a peek-a-boo Christmas card using the new Carols of Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies. I love it when Stampin’ Up! gives us an early release item! This is a set you’re going to want to add to your stash, especially because it’s part of an entire suite of items in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. Did you get any Bonus Days coupons last month? Well now is the time to use those coupons!! Here’s the list of measurements for this card:
- Night of Navy 4 1/4″ x 11″; score at 5 1/2″
- Whisper White 4″ x 5 1/4″
- So Saffron 1 5/8″ x 4 1/4″
- Window Sheet 4 1/4″ x 3″
So to create this card, you’re going to cut your Night of Navy and score. Then, measuring from the score line out, cut at 1 1/2″ to create the top half of the card. Then the piece you cut off, you want to trim it to 1 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and set aside. Take the night sky die from the bundle and die cut the top piece of the card. Then adhere the window sheet to that portion. Using some Multipurpose glue, dab some on the back of portion that has been die cut and add the So Saffron piece to cover up the adhesive on the Window Sheet and give the night sky some color when you look at it from the front. Then add some adhesive to the 1 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Night of Navy and using the back panel of the card base as a guide, adhere it to the window sheet. Take your Whisper White panel and set in the inside of the card to measure where the window will show through and stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy and adhere to the card base. Then tie your ribbon around the bottom portion of the window sheet into a bow to the right of the card. Die cut your trees in the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper and add to the lower left front of the card with dimensionals. Stamp the deer in Basic Gray ink and die cut, then add him to the base of the trees with a mini dimensional. And that’s it! You have a fabulous card!!
